Bodhi Tree (Ficus Religiosa)

Sprinkle seeds of bodhi tree on top of rich in nutrients soil. Make sure the pot has good drainage so as to keep soil moist whilst the plant’s roots will not rot. If required you can transplant when leaves have sprung and plant reaches 10cm. It needs 5 hours a day of sun and about 18+ degrees Celsius or 65+ Fahrenheit to germinate. Water frequently to keep soil moist but do not overwater. Place a layer of rocks on bottom of pot before you put the soil in so as to help with the pots drainage. Bodhi tree(Ficus Religiosa) prefers an environment with little wind and much moisture. Until germination occurs you can put a plastic cap or a transparent wrapper on top of the pot in order to keep moisture in. Make sure it has some holes though in order for the soil to be able to breath. Most soils will work just fine but for quicker results bodhi tree (Ficus Religiosa) prefers a soil with ph<7
